This proposed 40-unit residential development in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston is designed to complement the surrounding neighborhood. The building massing is broken into smaller volumes to reflect the area’s scale, while the material palette—buff-colored brick, metal panels, and high-density fiberboard—provides a contemporary yet contextual character. The project is envisioned to meet Passive House standards for energy efficiency and will incorporate renewable energy.
